A story generation happens when you create a brand new story — that's when our AI writes the narrative and produces 5 original illustrations. Re-reading, listening, or reading shared stories never count against your quota.

Yes. Your account isn't device-locked — both parents can log in on their own phone or tablet and create stories from the same plan. Story generations and voice credits are shared across the account.

You'll see a prompt to upgrade. You can still read all existing stories and stories shared with you. Your quota resets on your next billing date.

Not at launch, but gift subscriptions are on our roadmap. In the meantime, you can create a story featuring a friend's child and share it — they'll get a free account and can upgrade themselves.

If you're not happy within the first 7 days of your subscription, contact us and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked. After 7 days, there are no refunds, but you can cancel anytime.

Yes. Voice credits can only be used on a Starter or Family plan. If you downgrade to Free, your purchased credits are saved and available the moment you resubscribe — they never expire.
